Bowlopolis Kid's Club

Young and beginning bowlers are enjoying the Bowlopolis Kid's Club Saturday mornings at 8:30 AM.  It's too late to join this group now, but they will start a new "season" of the club in the summer.  In the meantime, check out BOWLOPOLIS to learn about the imaginary bowling center.  There are new adventures in every frame!  And don't forget to pick up the newest episode of the Bowlopolis adventure DVD.  See your friends at our front desk for the latest DVD.

Grand Prix Scholarships

One of the greatest things about bowling at Holiday Lanes is that youth can earn scholarship dollars for every game bowled in leagues or tournaments.  For just $2 a year, youth are enrolled in the Louisiana Grand Prix Scholarship Program.  If a student sticks with it throughout their school years, the money they have accumulated will be paid to any college of their choice upon graduation.  The scholarship fund currently holds $917,000!

High School Varsity Bowling

Holiday Lanes is home to Bossier and Caddo Parish High School Varsity Bowling.  The competitive bowling season begins in mid-January with a jamboree and goes through Spring Break.  Meets are held twice a week.  The competition is great, so come out and support your team.  Come out and support your team!  Admission is free.

Presidential Active Lifestyle Award

Are you up for the challenge to earn the Presidential Active Lifestyle Award? The President's Challenge is for everyone. Really. Truly. All ages and all abilities are welcome here. And we are making it easy to reach your challenge goals with our Kids Bowl Free Summer Bowling Program. Children 18 and younger can sign up to receive two free games of bowling per day from May 30 to Sept. 5. School employees and teachers also can bowl free by showing their school id to receive a summer pass. Last year, we registered more than 8,000 participants at Holiday Lanes and gave more than 25,000 free games of bowling to the community.

Bowling is a great way to stay active. Bowling 2 games exercises 184 muscles and burns approximately 320 - 580 calories! All you need is a desire to get active (or increase your current activity level). It's not just for kids, adults can participate too.

Sign up now at www.kidsbowlfree.com/HolidayLanesLA and make bowling a part of your physical activity daily routine. To find out more about how to earn your Presidential Active Lifestyle Award, go to http://www.presidentschallenge.org

We hope you are up for the challenge. Let us know when you earn your award. We want to brag about you!
